Christmas Day 2020… many ways the culmination of a year like no other. As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, we are more mindful than ever of our inability to control this world and it’s continual challenges. Our comfort, our peace , our joy and our very existence on this earth comes from his grace! Thank You Father, that we have endured and thank you for your provision and love.

Today I am thankful that my loved ones are healthy and have persevered through bouts of COVID, times of furlow and other battles.

We have had our ups and downs. Times of great strength along with times we could have been better. I have personally been reminded that no matter how well intentioned I may be or how much I love and genuinely care for others, in this life I will continually fall short and be in need of his grace. May I never stop being open to learn from my missteps and seeking his guidance in all I do and say.

As we bowed our heads to pray before Christmas dinner tonight, my Mother reminded us that although we have experienced a tough year, we were also richly blessed many times over throughout the year. I pray for our family and yours that 2021 will be a year of health and happiness, of growth and giving, of love and forgiveness.

In His Name,
